PMI The Gold Standard for PMPs
Project Management Professionals (PMPs) have been turning to the Project Management Institute (PMI) for more than forty years as the source for education and guidance on their careers. The pmi pmp certification is considered the gold standard of project management certification in many circles. This certification is obtained by passing a four hour, 200 question test, and must be maintained by taking further development units. In order to qualify for the certification, individuals must have a certain number of years experience, 3 years if a college graduate and 5 years if a high school graduate. They must also have had 35 hours of project management education.
