Russell has decided that he wants to connect two of his computers together, to make it easier to share files. Russell's friend, Taylor told him that he could make the wires himself, or he could buy them. He told Russell it was easy to make the Cat5e Crossover Cable if he already had the tools. Russell decided to look for a diagram on how to make the wire. Russell found the website with the diagram, and it showed all the instructions for the crossover. He already had all the tools he needed so he decided to make his own wire.
